Low-impact strength and tone. Mat-based pilates paired with light weights, bands, and props — long lines, steady burn, full-body focus.
Classical and contemporary mat work. Core, control, and connection — nothing between you and the floor but your breath.
Slow, supported, deeply stretched. Release tension, calm the nervous system, leave quieter than you came in.
A dedicated red-light therapy room layered into a 30-minute pilates flow. Red and near-infrared light are used by athletes and dermatologists for circulation, recovery, joint comfort and skin — paired with a slow, precise session you feel it end to end.
Calm. Intimate. Focused. A studio designed for practice, not performance.
Up to twelve students per class. One instructor who actually sees you. The Room is a boutique pilates studio in Tamarindo — Costa Rican owned, built around the idea that the best way to move is quietly, carefully, and in good company.
No numbers to hit. Just solid technique, a thoughtful pace, and a dedicated red-light room for the days you want to move and recover in the same hour.

The instructors actually watch you. I’ve been going three times a week and I can feel the difference in how I carry myself.
Small classes, warm space, real technique. I came for a drop-in on vacation and now I plan trips around it.
Honestly the best hour of my week. I leave my phone in the locker and get a whole nervous-system reset.

Sarah Duzzi is the founder and lead instructor at The Room. She is a certified pilates teacher with a comprehensive mat and apparatus training, and more than a decade of practice — first as a student, then as a coach people keep coming back to.
Sarah’s approach is quiet and precise: she watches, adjusts, and meets you where your body is on the day. Whether you’re recovering from a long flight, an injury, or just a long week, the cue is the same — move carefully, breathe deeply, leave lighter.
